Dr. Jamie is a general dentist who truly loves what she does. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, comfortable environment where patients feel at ease, heard, and cared for. Dr. Jamie believes that exceptional dentistry begins with trust and communication, and she is committed to giving every patient the time, attention, and personalized care they deserve.
As a parent of a child with Type 1 diabetes, Dr. Jamie understands firsthand the importance of thoughtful, individualized care—especially for children. This personal experience has shaped her approach to dentistry, strengthening her appreciation for patience, flexibility, and clear communication. It also allows her to better support families whose children have medical considerations or unique needs, helping make each dental visit as positive and stress-free as possible.
Education & Experience
Dr. Jamie grew up in Miami, Oklahoma, and graduated from Miami High School in 1999. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Pittsburg State University in 2002 before moving to Iowa City to attend dental school at the University of Iowa. Her education and professional experience have provided her with a strong foundation in comprehensive family dentistry, allowing her to care for patients of all ages.
Continuing Education & Professional Involvement
Dr. Jamie is dedicated to lifelong learning and regularly participates in continuing education to stay current with the latest dental technologies, materials, and treatment options. She believes her patients deserve the highest standard of care, and ongoing education allows her to continually improve outcomes and expand available treatment options.
She is an active member of several professional organizations that support continuing education and clinical excellence, including the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, Tulsa Endodontic Study Club, and the Christian Dental Society. Dr. Jamie also regularly attends dental meetings and advanced courses to stay up to date on the newest techniques and advancements in dentistry.
